I think at 1st.after I started removing my pub's I was a little shy but after I got past that time I can only say that I have never gotten so much as a giggle.In fact 1 time the d r's.Assistant made a remark that she has been noticing that more & more men either triming or completlely removing all their hair & that she only barely got her boyfriend to shave it off.But she asked me what I do to keep my skin,(I asked her if she wanted to feel how smooth it was),it was a quick & short feel),I told her I used baby lotion about 3 times a day.I just learned another way of not feeling the"nubs",& that is to use deorderant after you shave.I've not tried that yet but believe me I'm going to try it.

hey still going through my teen years shaving all my pubes off does it look like i never even got any pubes or can people tell i shave? also i did before i was a nudist and it got really uncomfortable when it started to grow back and it was always sweaty.how can i prevent this happening?

I never shaved but I do like to trim up my pubs it does look neater and feels better, at least to me. I was 52 before I shaved the first time and like to trim it up occationally.

I have to say that I like both, hair and shaved. Although I prefer nicely trimmed. I am now shaved or at lease trimmed up. So, nicely trimmed is what I like to see, both men and women.

yer i started shaving off my pubs about a week ago and i am going to stay smooth from now on it just feels and looks better if you ask me the only good thing i sugest is a good shaving cream and good conditioner to sofen the hair first

Not sure why, but I thought I would weigh in on this overly blogged topic with my two cents. I first went "bald" down below several years ago after being encouraged by my then wife. While I admit that I initially thought it looked a little odd because I'm fairly hairy elsewhere, it felt incredible. Since then, I have gotten divorced but continued the daily shave ritual. My current girlfriend loves it but, more importantly, I love it. My older brother and his wife have also gone smooth down below, as are several of my buddies. While I'm certainly glad that it's become popular and socially acceptable for men to completely shave off their pubic hair, I think all comes down to a matter of personal choice. I am certainly NOT, as some other ridiculous blog suggested, a latent pedophile! I just enjoy the sensation and sensitivity of feeling completely naked by virtue of being bush free. One added benefit of my "baldness" is that because I never wear underwear, I never worry about getting pubes caught in my zipper! I try and accept others for their choices, and hope that they can accept me for mine. Isn't acceptance and tolerance a part of the core fundamentals of this community? Peace.

For my two bits, I prefer the natural look for pubes. Maybe trimed but not shaven smooth. But have noticed something from those that say smooth is best, the only way to be. Everyone of those that has a photo have hair on their heads. Why isn't the head hair shaved also, then you can have an entire smooth body.
